Inner Safety is the #1 ingredient for self-healing and inner leadership. To be a stand for yourself, to feel and honor what you need and what you need to express emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually, you need to feel inwardly safe.
Inner Safety and Inner Unsafety are in the undercurrent the main ingredients that rule your life. We believe that you feel Inwardly Safe in parts of yourself that aren’t wounded. Inner Safety is also a state of being you can reach by healing yourself in parts of you where you feel Inwardly Unsafe.
The definition of Inner Unsafety is:
You feel inwardly unsafe when you're triggered in an old memory, in an old feeling. This can be in the distant past or in the recent past but it's always an echo of something that happened to you in the past. It’s never in the now. Although the emotions of panic, anger, fear, etc. occur in the now, the emotion itself isn't from the now. It's from the past.
It's always related to a physical or emotional memory that has a pain, fright or fear component attached to it. And it’s always a reaction to your interpretation of the reality, your interpretation of what happened.
